New Show on Oprah’s Network – “All About Aging”

by Dale on June 5, 2010

You can make this headline a reality!!!

If you’re reading this blog, I know you are concerned about healthy aging and quality of life for your aging parent (and yourself!)  Please read on to see how your “one vote” can make this headline come true!

I met Carrie Gallahan, Executive of Blair Ridge Assisted Living, several weeks ago.  Carrie has an infectious energy and passion for her work with the elderly.  She has decided to respond to Oprah’s call for  audition videos for new show concepts.
.
Oprah has shied away from addressing aging or the elderly.  Someone told me it’s because Oprah finds the topic depressing!
.
Well, Carrie is out to change that with her show concept, “All About Aging”.  I love the African proverb which she says has driven her to action, “Every time an old person dies, a library burns to the ground.”
.
Please watch her short video, and if you support her efforts, vote for her as many times and as often as you like :-)
.
Carrie says,Thank you for helping us spread the joys of elderhood!”
I say, “Go Carrie!!!

Thank you, Dale. I am encouraged and awed by the response this topic is receiving!

You now have 4,445 votes. That’s incredible.
If you want to be on my BlogTalkRadio show sooner, I can do an additional show one week, instead of you waiting until July 20th.
Let me know what you think. Dale…

6500 today! Perhaps we should do the show before the voting ends?

I don’t understand how some of these people have 1 million + votes! How is that even possible?
