I wish I had had this information and insight when I received the crisis call 3 years ago that my mother had a stroke. That moment will be embedded in my mind forever. I felt completely lost and alone. I was on a rollercoaster of emotions while trying to figure out how to most effectively help my mother, 600 miles away.
